I started Philomena Company with a simple yet powerful dream—to create a space where young girls like me can boldly express their faith through fashion. What once lived quietly in my heart as an idea has now become a mission fueled by courage and purpose. For a long time, I felt too shy to share what I believed in. But through this brand, I’ve found my voice—and I want other girls to find theirs too. Philomena Company isn’t just about clothing; it’s about building a community of strong, confident young women who take pride in their relationship with the Lord. My hope is that every piece we create helps girls feel seen, inspired, and empowered to live out their faith unapologetically. Together, through God and style, we can boldly spread His word and remind each other that we are never alone.
The logo for Philomena Company carries deep personal and spiritual symbolism. The name “Philomena” is inspired by my confirmation saint, St. Philomena, who is the patron saint of premature babies. I was born two months early, weighing only three pounds, and like St. Philomena, I had to fight from the very beginning.
St. Philomena was a young girl who devoted her life to God. When a local king sought to marry her, she refused, remaining steadfast in her faith and commitment to the Lord. Her courage and conviction ultimately led to her martyrdom, making her a symbol of strength, purity, and resilience.
The triangle in the logo represents the Holy Trinity — the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit — serving as a reminder of the foundation of our faith. Surrounding the triangle are four flower petals. These petals honor St. Philomena and also symbolize the four essential marks of the Catholic Church: One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic.
